Why are people so rude

I just read this thing about taking their kids to a movie blah and how it's so selfish. These people were arguing back and forth and one of them called the other girls child a whiny ass baby. Lmao why can't people just agree to disagree and move on. I mean if you're as mature as you think you are than why be name calling anyway? Just a thought of mine.
