Implant Question/Concern

Hello!

I got my implant placed May 6th, while on my period. I did not really have much spotting or pain and all was well.... Until, I got my "period". It has been a constant spotting (and I know it can take a while to regulate) but it has been miserable. I really want to love this, I had the patch before but it mad me dizzy and my periods 100x worse. I've included a picture of my cycle so you can see. I can manage a pad a day because it's so light, but there's also some stringy bits which I'm assuming it's small blood clots, and to top it off sometimes it will be basically discharge with light brown blood and then it will get heavier and be dark brown. Well here's my question-- I have a obgyn appt in aug. She told me that if all is well then I don't need to come in. But, I really want my period to end. I know you can get placed on pills to help it, but I really don't want anymore hormones. So-1.) should I ask for pills? Or wait it out and cancel

2.) what kind of pills are you put on and for how long?
