Please help. I'm confused!

In May I had excruciating cramps and heavy bleeding accompanied by blood clot after blood clot all day for about 4 days. I never had that type of period before but didn't think anything of it. Now here comes June. My periods were 2 weeks apart! Which never happens. If that isnt bad enough I have not stopped spotting since the last day of my period. The spotting is accompanied by skin tissue. I have an appointment with the gyno on Wednesday. Any insight of what this could possibly be? Thank you so much!
