Provera then colmid

Quick questions guys. My dr put me on provera to jump start my period since I haven't been ovulating he is also putting me on colmid. I am supposed to take provera for 10 days which I started on the 30th. The then told me to wait 5 days after I finish provera to start colmid. So this means I would start the colmid on the 14th. Has anyone else used this same method. Most post I see people are starting colmid like 5 days after they start bleeding. My problem is I just have break through bleed like on the 30 but he still wanted me to take provera. I'm confused 😩
