Very TMI and I'm sorry but this has me worried. I'm going to see a nurse tomorrow so I'm going to ask her but wanted to check to see if you all thought I should call ob today? 5days pp and after minor bleeding I see this this morning...normal?

That's normal! At the hospital they told me if its as big as your fist then you need to go in.. But your going to have clots that size and smaller and it's totally normal

I say not normal. They told me if I soak a pad in an hour something is wrong. If I pass a clot bigger than a ping pong to call. So I am going to say call your dr

I was told to look at the color - black is old blood which is fine even if the clots are bigger (just make sure to mention the size if they're bigger than a golf ball), the lighter the color the more concern they'll have

I passed a clot that was a little bigger than a golf ball the day after I had my daughter. My midwife said it was normal. But I didn't pass any with my son 2 1/2 years ago. Everyone is different.

I'd call just to be sure. I passed clots like that and had medium levels of bleeding, and then started hemorrhaging 3 weeks postpartum. Not trying to scare you dear, but call just to see what they say. :) If there is something wrong, better to catch it now.

I passed multiple clots about 3 weeks pp and went in and had ob check me and all was ok.

Blood clot. My doctor told me at discharge of you get 3 or more the size of golf balls or larger that day I needed to call my OB. 3 or more in an hour go to ER directly. But that large clots are common after sitting or being in the same spot with minimal movement for long periods of time.
