How long does your baby breastfeed?

My daughter is 1 month old and usually bottle fed 4 oz of breast milk. But ive been trying to reintroduce breast feeding (we had to stop because of her latch and my pain). But she always falls asleep while breastfeeding so I never know if she is getting enough. I try to keep her awake, undress her, tickle her, readjust her; she just knocks out after about 10 minutes on both sides. Then she doesnt nap as long afterwards. How long does your little one breastfeed till full?

My daughter is three weeks and only eats 8-10 minutes per feeding then sleeps for 3-4 hours. She's gaining a ton of weight, over two pounds since birth and has 8-12 wet and poopy diapers a day so I know she's fine. When I pump I usually get an ounce a minute per breast and when she takes a bottle it's usually 5 ounces then she's hungry again in 30 minutes so it's really hard to judge how much she's actually getting!

You know baby is getting enough based on wet and dirty diapers. Falling asleep at the breast is totally normal and babies dream feed which is feeding while asleep.
Also, look into paced feeding. Bottle feeding a breast fed baby is different than a formula fed baby.

Same.her only 5. To 10 minute each time feeding then she just  unlatch her self.... What can I do

I do block feeding. I let him empty one breast so he gets the fore and hind milk, then if he is still hungry I put him to the other breast. I've read that they won't sleep as well if they are only getting foremilk because the fat content is less. It takes him about 20-30 min to empty the breast.

Breastfed babies will need to eat more often than formula fed babies because they digest it quickly.  My son sleeps about three hours between feeding at night but nurses every hour or even half hour during the day.

I'd been wondering the same thing from other moms! My baby is 2 weeks and spends 25 minutes on each breast. It takes a full hour to feed her as I spend some time trying to keep her awake. It can be so draining! 😩

My LO is a month and a week and she never feeds longer than 30 minutes. And it rarely gets to that. Usually she does ten minutes on both sides. It made me really nervous but after her first month check up she already had gained 2 pounds and an ounce so I know she's getting what she needs. As long as baby is happy and not fussy you should be okay.
