Has anyone taken Plan B while using birth control?

Before people start being rude saying "Birth control is protecting you, let it do its job you don't need plan b, you're dumb"... just listen to what I have to say and be positive.
I started birth control a month ago ( a month is a very short time my period is irregular and the doc told me to use back up a month on bc, this is probably because it can take some time to become fully effective). That is why I took Plan b. I want to know if anyone else has taken plan b while on birth control and if they had any side effects! Durning my sugar pills of my very first pack I had sex and the condom broke. He came inside of me (a lot since we didn't know it broke). 60 hours later I took plan b. Can I take my birth control the same day, my normal time?

I was taking medication that interfered with my birth control. I called my doctor and she told me to take plan b and to use backup until I got my next period. I actually didn't have any negative side effects; my period just came one day late and was heavier than usual with worse cramps. I was back to normal my next cycle.

Fully working? You don't have to be on a perfect cycle for the birth control to be effective. Yeah you're probably gonna have some bad side effects because you're basically doubled up on synthetic hormones. Your cycle is going to be out of whack, I would ask my doctor what to do because I don't know if you should continue to take your birth control or stop and let your body breathe. I'm surprised you're not sick right now.
