How many days post C could you really move?

Question

I am 5 days post and feeling better every day. How many days post could you really move around without serious pain/discomfort? I am fairly good but the transitions (getting into bed/outta bed for example) are still pretty hard. Just trying to gauge what to expect.

I'm 9 days post C section and I'm feeling great!! I still have discomfort and some pain, but I'm able to move around. 😊

I think it was 2-3 weeks before I could start to get around like I normally could.

Just listen to your body. I'll be 3 weeks pp on Wednesday and I really overdid it today. I ended up in tons of pain, nauseated, with a paralyzing headache. I knew I was overdoing it this morning and still didn't take time to rest. Now I'm bed-ridden while my husband plays mommy and daddy. This probably set me back several days of recovery. Learn from my mistakes and don't push it. Take it easy and nap as much as possible.

Week 3 was the best! Week 1 and 2 i still needed my painkillers.

Into week 4 now and feeling almost normal.

I'm 36 hrs post 3rd and I'm dying in pain! This has been the worst recovery yet, and I'm glad it the last time I ever have to do this

I was fairly comfortable walking around at about 3 days. I couldn't quite stand up straight but I was moving good

Everyone is different we all heal differently. I was out of bed and moving 12 hours after my c section and that was because I had to have 2 blood transfusions before they would let me get up and take my catheter out.  wanted to go home had been in bed for 36 hours before they decided I needed a c section. They let me out the next day besides not being able to sleep on my stomach I was fine. Hang in there and take all the time u need ur body will tell u when ur ready. Good luck.

I'm 10 days pp and still pretty uncomfortable. I can move around fine but not without pain.

I'm 5 days post today and have been moving more and more, feeling a little better everyday as well. I notice if I really have to pee the pain is worse. Night time can get rough from sitting up and laying down so often. For the most part I'm getting around pretty good.
