They would let my brother go study in another state but not us.
They wouldn't mind my brother travel elsewhere without interrogating him but with us, they will. 
Btw...I'm 26 and they still treat me like a kid.

Move out at all costs. You need independence and once you do it, you'll love feeling free and self-directed. Sure it will be awkward for a while with the parents but that won't last long when they see how much you grow! And you'll be a so much happier person.
