Ok...so my best friend started seeing this guy and she felt like something was off. So today we decided to do some Facebook snooping and well we found out that he's married. He was leading her on and slept with her and this whole time he's married and his wife is back home on the east coast. She doesn't know what to do. A part of her wants to tell his wife what happened but another part doesn't want to hurt her because she seems so happy and so in love with this asshole. What wou you guys do?? Would you tell his wife what happened or would you just let it go and not tell her??

let me offer a different perspective. I am the daughter of a man who cheated on his wife, and my parents are divorced because of it.

it was through persistent digging that my mom discovered my dad had a mistress... and that he'd been seeing her for months.

I don't know, to this day, if the mistress knew she was a mistress. but I know this: if she was not aware, and found out like OP did, I wish she would've told my mom. I really do. it would have saved my mom the heartache of discovering it on her own, and she would have found an ally too, in the mistress.

as for me? well...even without the cheating, the divorce was a long time coming. it takes a certain type of person to cheat on their partner, and lie to their face, every day, about it. ive learned that if there's infidelity, there's other, deeper problems in the marriage.

so save the wife the pain of discovering this down the line. because one way or another, their marriage is coming to an end. please do the right thing and tell her.

I had to tell a co-worker once about her husband, it was difficult but she trusted me and appreciated it. 
She had suspicions that her husband was cheating on her and she confided in me one day at work. I listened to her vent and I gave her some comforting scriptures from the bible. Well we happen to live in a small town and wouldn't you know I happened to drive by her husband one day and he was in a park with another woman being too intimate. This was heartbreaking for me, I knew I had to tell her what I had seen. So I told her. She was hurt but it just confirmed her suspicions. She confronted him, he confessed, and they worked out their marriage thru therapy and are still together. 
If I had to do this all again, without hesitation I would do it all the same. The wife has a right to know.

No you definitely tell his wife. That women is sitting there loving a cheating man thinking he's wonderful and even though you don't wanna be a home wrecker one, it was not you're fault he lied on both ends and two, you may not be the only mistress and you'd be doing the wife a huge favor by letting her know she's married to a cheating asshole. Ugh, cheaters are literally the lowest of low😤

Ggrrrr.... I hate this. I was unknowingly the other woman once. He lied and said he was single. I eventually found out about his wife after a few months. I was devastated. Marriage is sacred. I would never willingly be a mistress. I debated telling the wife for several weeks and end the end I left it alone. I honestly don't know if I did the right thing but I made my choice based on the fact that they had a teenage daughter and I didn't want to be the cause of a family splitting up. If he was to cheat again it I really hope she caught him. He had told me that he'd told her about me and him but you can't trust a person like that to tell the truth. I chose the path that was easier and less messy.
