Go to 41 weeks or induce?

I would like opinions based on past experience. I am 40 weeks tomorrow and I really want to go into labor naturally but I also don't want to make it to 41 weeks. I started my maternity leave at 39 weeks and I really want as much time as possible with baby. I've heard good and bad stories about induction. I have been progressing every week and was 1.5 cm and 70% effaced last week. My doc likes to wait till 41 weeks to induce but I think if I requested between 40-41 she would allow it.
