Baby carrier for small newborns?

Question

I tried using a baby wrap with my first, but I always felt like she was going to suffocate with all that fabric, plus my huge engorged chest didn't help. She was only 5lbs, 6oz.

I want to try using one again with my 2nd. I honestly didn't do enough research with my first 4 yrs ago. Have any of you used a wrap successfully with a small newborn? If so, which one? And pictures to see how it looks might help me get over the fear of suffocating the baby, so please post them if you'd like 😊 TIA!

My girl absolutely loves being in our Solly Baby Wrap. She was 5lbs 9oz at birth but went down to 5lbs 4oz and still fit comfortably and safely. There are tutorials as well and explanations on their website.

Try to see if there is a Babywearing group near you! They will help you out so much! I run a lending/ teaching library in our little town and I always love to help moms out with their tiny new squishes:)  personally I love ring slings for tiny ones, especially in the first few milk engorged days.       This is not my photo because I just switched phones and pics haven't been transferred

My baby girl is a preemie and just over 5 pounds and I've been using a bobba wrap with her. She loves it and it works well. When my milk first came in I couldn't do it though because it hurt too much. But now that it's calmed down its easy and comfy
