Thoughts?

Okay so  tested this morning using a digital however I guess the battery was dead because nothing on the screen popped up (no result or sign the test was working). I got curious and opened it up even though I heard that makes the test invalid I figured why not since it didn't work in the first place but now I'm really curious if this actually worked or not. Also the faint line was much darker when I first opened it up.
