When to install car seat base in car?

When are you guys putting the car seat base in your car, I'm 37 weeks & 2 days is it too soon to install the base?

Not too early at all! We did it right around 37 weeks and brought it to be inspected at the local fire department just to be sure we did it correctly. They were happy to help!

Install the base at 35-37 weeks and keep the car seat near the door for when you leave don't put the car seat in until you leave because God forbid you get in an accident then the car seat isn't any good.

I put my in about a week ago, I'm 37+3.

Never too soon to install it, but we are just going to right before we leave for our induction Thursday or right before we leave the hospital after baby is born. We haven't decided :)

Nope! Defintely not too early! Better to be prepared. Mine is in and I'm 36w3d
