My due date is today but I don't think he'll arrive in the next few hours lol but anyway I've been thinking when I go into labour whether to have the epidural or not. With my first I had pethidine, my second I had no pain relief at all so having experienced an unmedicated birth whether to have the epidural? Can people tell me their experiences with having it good or bad, how long did it take to work like was it instant or did it take a while etc? How long does it take to wear off? How far into established labour did you get it? Did it completely numb you or did you have some feeling of the contractions? Sorry about all the questions just want to get an idea before considering it really
