If you're at risk of c-section, they dometimes don't let you eat so lollies keep mouth wet without all the sugar that may make you sick with the anaesthetic.

Maybe because you can't eat anything?? I have no idea, I'm a newbie to all this lol

They help keep your mouth moist, but I never used mine in labor. I did take a few honey sticks for quick energy though and that was a lifesaver.
