Is stitching growing into scar normal?!?!
This was my first child & had to have a c-section @ 38 weeks due to my amniotic fluid dropping to a 4 when it is supposed to be an 8.
I had an aweful reaction to whatever they cleaned me up with after my surgery. My pubic & vaginal area swelled up like a softball & took 4 weeks to go down- felt like I gave vaginal birth as well!
I couldn't get out of bed-shower-pee on my own for 2 weeks. Thank God my husband was so supportive & helpful.
I am now 10 weeks PP, and received the ok to work out and be more active @ 7 week check up but am still scared I will open my incision up.
I have numbing around my incision & have 3 spots on my scar that have little while spots-where it seems that the underling stitching is sticking through. I don't think that should look like that. My doc said its fine and doesn't seem considered. But I am most certainly concerned! I don't think that should be happening and I would really love to hear from you other ladies about your thoughts and what I should do. Should I get a second opinion?
