Formulas?

Question

I'm not breastfeeding, and was wondering what kind of wisdom veteran mums can give me on good infant formulas? Enfamil seems to be popular, but I'm looking for feedback :)

Enfamil Newborn for the first couple of months then we switched to Enfamil Infant - formula in general got to expensive for us since I am now a SAHM. We signed up for WIC and they only do Gerber. She's been on Gerber Gentle since 6mths and is now 9 mths and we didn't have any issues 😊

If I didn't mind paying the $34 I'd have tried Honest company's formula though, they had great reviews.

I live by nestle good start. It's extremely expensive but amazing. It also has a probiotic in it. My son did amazing on it when I stopped nursing. Never once had constipation or diarrhea issues. Never had tummy issues or colic. He always drank it all and slept a good solid uninterrupted 10-12 hours at night since he was 6 weeks old. I will definitely be using it again this time!!!!

We used Similac organic with my daughter and she did great. I am not opposed to store brand either, but when we tried to give her Babies R Us organic, she literally would rather go hungry than drink a drop. 45 minutes later we were at Target getting her the Similac, which she drank like a champ. Some kids are just picky like that!

I was supplementing with similac while I was still nursing. My milk stopped coming in and I went to parents choice that was compared to similac advanced. $5 cheaper and almost double the amount of bottles!

Similac is working fine for us. Might switch to Costco brand when this tub runs out. Just to save a couple bucks.

I fed my daughter Enfamil Newborn until 3 months of age then moved her to Enfamil Infant. If you haven't already done so Enfamil & Similac will send you $5 off coupons; two included each month. I also would ask breastfeeding mommas on PT tracker app for coupons that they didn't use & I ended up with $50 in coupons each month. And you can stack the formula coupons from Target with the Enfamil & Similac ones to save additional money.

My son had gas on Similac Advance non gmo so we switched to Earths Best Sensitive and hes been great on that!
