Need Motivation To Lose Weight/Exercise
Hello all. I'm a five foot tall young woman who weighs around 150 pounds (fluctuates between a little under or over). I've been overweight ever since childhood, was obese in late elementary/ early middle school but managed to drop some weight by riding my bike everywhere all the time. I've been wanting to lose weight for years, but everytime I try I quickly lose motivation and go back to eating junk and sitting around. I'm sick of living this way and honestly find myself disgusted with my behavior at points. While I believe everyone has a right to eat what they want and live their own lifestyle, and I don't judge anyone for their eating and exercise habits, this just isn't the type of lifestyle I want for myself. I want to be healthier and I want to be happy with my body. Basically what this post is about is I'm asking for tips on how to stay motivated, but positively. I used to use negative reinforcement to lose weight and while I did get thinner, I also developed eating disorder-like habits that were extremely unhealthy (going days with no food, extreme exercise, forced vomiting, ect). I'm looking for a 100% positive weight loss motivation plan to avoid relapse. How do you all stay motivated to make healthy choices and get off your butt to exercise?
