Hair stylist: "Do you have any kids?"
Me "No"
Her: "Are you planning on it?"
What I actually said: "hopefully someday"
What I should have said: "actually I lost my twins two months ago when they passed away in-utero at 18w from TTTS and today is my first fertile period since then so my husband is coming home from work at 11pm so we can quickly have sex to try to make sure we catch the egg because we both think getting pregnant is the only thing that will ease the grief we feel every day. Which, as you can (or likely can't) imagine is very stressful and not romantic at all. Also that was a very personal question and you should just cut my hair without asking me about my uterus."
