Don't read if you'll be offended

A lot of mothers might not have spoken on this but my heart goes out to his family. It was sad watching the videos and seeing him get shot infront of people and seeing his son crying out for him. Idk how it feels to lose my father but I do know how it feels to not have him. It scares me everyday when my SO goes out to get us something to eat, grocery shopping, work, etc. 'cause I pray he comes home to us every time he leaves. His father passed away when he was a baby from gun violence. I don't want that for my son. I fear to bring my son into this society knowing he's a young black man. Things need to change and we all need to come together and stop violence period. It doesn't matter if it's black on black, white on black, or white on white, we need to stop it and come together for our CHILDREN
