I think its about the size of their head and not just the weight! My baby was 8lb 13oz, which def is big but he was a scheduled c section because his head ended up being in the 99th percentile and they said it was unlikely to get him out without serious tearing and potentially his shoulders getting stuck!

My daughter was 8.7 and she came out fine and my husband and all of his brothers were 10 lbs and his mom had them all vaginally, without  medication 😳

My first son Jack weighed 10 lbs 9 oz! Pushed for two hours and then was screaming for them to just pull him out!!! I was also 2 weeks overdue though so I knew he was gonna be a big boy!
