13+3 days premature 💙

So a week ago today 30th June my little boy came into the world weighing 1lb 7.5oz absolutely tiny!. I was 26+4 weeks pregnant. I'd had previous movement reduction which I'd gone to the hospital on the Monday 2 day prior to get checked and all was fine. On the day I was tired and slept and felt horrible but put it down to being pregnant and running around after a 5 year old! That night I suffered a severe headache and severe braxton hicks that just wouldn't go away. I went to the toilet and started bleeding so went to the hospital.. within seconds of them checking his heart beat which was healthy as anything my blood pressure came out high and my braxton hicks were in fact contractions. I was diagnosed with severe pre eclampsia. I was taken into a room where loads of different people came in to sort me out my blood pressure reached 180/109 and I was rushed in for an emergency c section after my body had been flushed with magnesium sulphate to protect my brain. At 5:44am my beautiful baby boy was brought into the world. I saw him for a split second before he was taken away! I later found out we both nearly died. He's now a week old and doing well he was transferred on the day to a specialist nicu hospital and I followed 2 days later and am currently still in! It's been the scariest thing in my life and so very emotional and still is. We have and long way to go but I'm hopeful for my boy! He's a complete miracle considering my placenta was 'a mess' as they put it! I'm so in love with him! He wasn't due until October! But I wouldn't have it any other way right now. He's my absolute world our little Ralphie 💙💙
