I Don't Understand the Glow Community

The past few days there have been two posts from two seperate women who had very different responses from the Glow community.

The first woman adopted a child and now the child is out of control. She asked the Glow community if she should send the child back to foster care because she hates the child. Everyone told her how a child can't be evil and she's a horrible parent. The child is female.

The second woman married a man who had a child who is also very disruptive and she asked the Glow community if she should ban the child from her house because she hates the kid (child was male). The Glow community said she should definitely ban the child from her house and the child was evil.

To me, these situations are the same. Both women took children into their home and are now dealing with disruptive behavior (in the extreme). Both kids were about the same age. I am genuinely curious why people responded so differently to the situations? Is it because one child was male? Is it because more people could relate with the woman who had married a man who had a disruptive child?
