It finally happened
Ok, so here's my story...about three years ago, I was taking birth control pills but started having painful cysts. I went to the doctor and did a sono that showed a 7 cm cyst but during the sono, it ruptured...it was very painful but at least it was gone. From then on, I kept having them, they would get about that size, the doctor went in for surgery twice but both times, she went to remove them, they ruptured already. My husband came up with the idea to get off the pills to see how that would do with the cysts. Surprisingly, after stopping, I never got a cyst. I found it unreal bc I know that a lot of times when you have cysts, the doctors put you on bc pills to keep them away. My husband didn't want any more children (we have two beautiful girls, 7 & 9) so he always used the pull out method. ( I also explained to him that it's not 100% safe and that it still puts us at a risk for getting pregnant) I won't lie, I really wanted just one more child so I hoped for it. About a year later, I decided, just for the heck of it, two days before my period that I would take a pregnancy test and sure enough, there was a BFP. Even after a while, I still didn't have much symptoms, just the breast tenderness, plus my cervix was still low and firm. I was in shock and couldn't believe it. I waited before telling my husband but he knew something was up bc he knew when I was suppose to start and kept telling me he thought I may be pregnant, so about a week later, I bought a test to show him I was. He was in shock as well, a little upset bc he kept worrying about financial issues that could uprise after the baby but after a few more weeks, he finally excepted it and was happy and talked about names and such. And here I am, 8 and a half weeks pregnant. Got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time Friday which makes it that much more realistic. Baby dust too all! 🙂
