Maternity Leave issue
Just a rant. I'm due July 28. My office is 40 minutes away from home and over an HOUR from my hospital. The plan was for me to be done working in office at 38 weeks and work from home up until I go into labor. Well now my boss wants me to be in the office during week 39 for a few days. I said yes because I can't ever say no. She constantly reminds me that she worked in the office up until she had her baby last year, BUT she only lives 10 minutes from our office.
To top it all off, my entire department is going to be on vacation that week! So if something were to happen, I would be screwed. I know they need me here, but it seems inconsiderate to be putting me in such a stressful situation 🙄
