Is it normal to throw up when your cramps are really bad? I've been throwing up at least three or four times a day when I'm on my period! I've been to the doctor and she said not to worry but does this happen any of you?

You need to go to a different doctor to help you manage this. It isn't ok for you to throw up from the pain of your period. I used to every month when younger and doctors shrugged me off too but later on found out I had real issues that needed to be addressed. It could be a matter of just being young (if you are in your teens) and you will grow out of it or it could be something else. Until you find a doctor who listens you need to manage the pain better. With certain type of foods like broccoli (Google the best foods for cramps) and pain medication. So the day before you start your period start taking the medication, four hours apart and continue until the day after your cramps end. I use paracetamol and iprobrufen. I take parecetimol then 2 hours later iprobrufen then 2 hours after that paracetamol and so on. I know how shit it is for you and a period is not supposed to be that debilitating.

my periods were sooooo bad a few years ago!!! i was probably around 15-17, and wow. i would be doubled up in pain, throwing up, heat pads doing nothing, extra strong pain medication not even touching it. i even missed some of my exams at school because it was so bad. i ended up going on the pill and it was SO much better within a couple of months!

That use to happen to me all the time but if no over the counter medicine works you can be put on a type of bc that helps control the cramps.that is what I use now

It sounds a lot like endometriosis since the vomiting is due to cramping. I deal with this a lot during my period and a heating pad on the lower back helps a lot. For your pain, try midol or naproxen. I prefer naproxen since it relieves more of my pain and helps me sleep during.
