Tmi 3 days of spotting period not due for 5 days

I'm on my third day of spotting I have not been wearing a pad or even liner it is not heavy or showing up in urine. Just on paper. It started off light pink with some spots of bright blood. And then went to having brown discharge to pink again to brown today? Idk what is going on but I'm kinda freaked out I have PCOS n am always a day or two off never early. Could this be a light period? Or something else plz let me know ty
