How'd contractions feel for you?

I'm a ftm and I'm curious to know how contractions felt for you.

Mine felt like a dull period cramp that was 20 minutes apart, they were more annoying than painful than once my water broke i could breathe, talk walk anything through it. I could say the F word very well tho. Haha

Mine start in my back and radiate towards my lower abdomin like a period cramp, but they paralyze me - can't walk, talk, or breathe.

A tightening of the belly. Not so much the entire stomach. But it felt like my forehead- hard and stiff and when I wasn't contracting more like the tip of my nose, squishy but still firm. I had a slight amount of blood and contractions coming at every two mins to ten mins. They were not super strong but it didn't take me long to rush my butt to the hospital. I had two big gushes of blood in the shower and i was in labor from 8am to 9:43.
