Stretch and sweep?

Just had a stretch and sweep done, fully effaced and 1-2cm I'm 39 weeks 4 days, do they work? Do you think I will have my baby soon?

I hear there is about a 50/50 chance of it working. I'm 39 weeks today 3.5 cm dilated 70 effaced and had mine stripped 2 days ago and nothing yet 👎🏽

Hi, I had sweep when I was 40weeks and 5 days :) 2 days later I woke up having contractions and gave a birth same day !!!! ❤️ good luck ! Your baby can be here anytime now xx
