It's my birthday today!! As I was growing up I was thinking about what color chalk I was going to make my hop scotch out of that day or how many times we would havvveeee to move our hockey nets out of the street after school so we would get run over. Twenty-nine years later my own daughter will be coming into this world very soon (I hope 😍) . I will have to find a way to explain to her all this malarkey in the world today, the shootings, the bombings, the "peaceful" protests, this election in general, our government, most of some of the people we surrounded by today. I will have to find a way to teach her to live above all this, to be sweet and kind, that ALL lives matter, but most of all to still think about what color chalk to make her hop scotch out of.
