40+ Weeks?!

Who is planning on going past your due date if that's what baby wants? I am 39w4d and the end does not seem near! Our plan is to go to 41 before inducing, but that seems soooooo long!!!

Anyone else? Or anyone already past and still waiting?

Waiting as long as he needs!!! If my body can make this baby, it knows when the time is right for him to come out! Hang in there!!!

Im 40 weeks 2 days right now.  The doctor said she wont let me go past 42 so im hoping she will just come on her own.  Stubborn like her mother is what daddy says

I'm 38 and my hospital will induce at 41 weeks. I hope I go without having to be induced. Feels so far away though lol

At the hospital where I will give birth they reccomend inducing 10 days after due date. So after 41. But also 14 days after due date is considered normal, if baby is not ready to come when due. You know, all these measurements and due dates are not as accurate as we think, that's why so little percentage of births happen on that exact date.

I don't plan to be induced. My midwife starts talking induction at 42+1. I expect to go past 40 weeks. My first came at 41+3, which is pretty normal. I don't buy into that idea that a due date is an expiration date. It's the middle date during when babies usually come, so just as many come after as do before. When I hit 40 weeks in 6 days, and if I'm still pregnant, then that just means I'm even closer. It also means I can scare people when they ask me when I'm due. ;)

I am....I was induced with my son and this time I'm refusing to be induced as long as everything is fine and healthy with me and baby! You technically aren't even considered over due till 42 weeks

I'm due the 11th too and it seems like its taking forever but I want her to come happy and healthy so if that means mommas gotta be uncomfortable for another week and a half than so be it. My doctor won't let me go past 41+1 though so she'll have to make up her mind before the 19th.

I am 40+5 today. Inducing Monday 41+1 If she isn't here by then.  Going over is hard and them little babies not coming is harder, but if you choose to wait just try to stay busy so you don't get to upset and anxious.

I am....I'm 39+4, not dilated, and baby has not dropped. My doctor gave me the option to induce on my due date or wait. I opted to wait until she's ready to come. He did mention that he didn't want me to go past 41 weeks but said we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
