Anyone else think they're further along?

So curious. When I found out I was pregnant, going off my LMP my due date would be 11/26. When I was measured super early, they gave me a due date of December 1st. However, since then my midwife just refuses to measure the baby! She just looks at him and says "he looks good" and that's about it. I had an appointment with a different doctor at a different hospital for genetic screening, and I was told he's a little tiny bit big so he's probably closer to the 11/26 off my LMP than he is Dec. 1st. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing anything similar? 😜

Yes!! Based off LMP at my first US I was 7weeks 3 days and baby was measuring 5weeks 6days. Which I thought was normal seeing as how you're not actually pregnant the first 2 weeks of pregnancy going from your LMP. Then they came out with the 12/20 due date when every due date calculator had us at 12/9. I figure the closer we get the better they'll be able to tell when she will be here

Last period was 3/19 ovulation was 4/2 due date is 12/24 because the first day of period is when they start the countdown

Based off my last period baby is supposed to be due the 11th of December and at our first ultrasound I was told the baby was measuring smaller I was supposed to be 11 weeks and 2 days but the tech said 10 weeks 6 days, went to our next appointment and my doctor said bc I knew my last period and I was super close on how far along I was that we're sticking with December 11th as my due date.

I dont understand all the terms im sorry I'm new to this,  but I do know i was told I was 6 weeks for almost three weeks by different practioners ... one even told me my numbers were showing only three weeks pregnancy which made no sense.finally my obgyn gave me a date, when i mentioned i gave my date of last period several days off (making it about a weeks difference) he told me to go by what he is giving me because if ever there is an emergency I need to remember the date I was given by him.

It's very difficult to go by LMP as not every woman ovulates on exactly CD14 with a total length of 28 days. For example, because I was just coming off the mini pill - if we dated my baby based on LMP I would have been 2 years and 1 month pregnant. (Mini pill killed my period COMPLETELY and I conceived the first month off the pill). Tracked my ovulation and that is what we used for dating combined with the scan. ALSO my OB told me that if the scan is within 7 days of what you "expect" they don't change the date. (I knew I ovulated April 3rd through charting BBT yet measured 3 days earlier than what I thought). So they kept the due date from my ovulation date.

When I had my dating scan by my LMP dates I as 8weeks but scan measured 11 days behind. .. I was sure that was off.. and at our 12 week scan we measured 13 weeks.. my mid wife isn't too worried baby if healthy and she will keep and eye in the size but I'm finishing up work a week early just incase we are a week ahead

My 6 week was right on. He measured 18.4 on my 18 week ultrasound, but my uterus is measuring 3 weeks ahead. 
The bigger baby is, the less accurate US is, which is one reason I only do the 2.

When I went in for my dating ultrasound,my baby measured a week behind what my LMP had said. I was really bummed out about it. But I was told by family that the baby could have just not hit a growth spurt yet or was just a little slow. I've had 3 since then and it always measures 4-5 days ahead now.

Anyone else think they're further along?
