What to bring my daughter home in?

Has anyone else had trouble finding what to bring the baby home in? I live in TN and August is pretty hot still, should I do a hat, no hat, socks? Im a first time mom so I have no clue lol any advice would be appreciated!!!

I'm due August 14th and bought a personalized onesie and will just do mittens and socks! I'm in Kansas so humidity is insane, I will bring a soft blanket along with but don't want to over do it!

Girl I'm in Tennessee too and I have no idea what I'm putting my little one in when she gets here! If I dressed her like me it would be shorts and a tank top lol! I will probably bring a NB onesie and a 0-3 onesies and little leggings and a pair of socks and hat just in case.

I live in Texas and August is always the hottest month so she's gonna come home in a onesie and a thin blanket to cover her legs because it's gonna be sooo hot

This is what I picked today to bring my baby girl home in. She'll be wearing a pink headband as well. Got this at Target for $8! I'm due August 9th, so it'll be pretty hot. Just gonna use a Muslin blanket to cover her a bit if needed. 😊

Our pediatrician has always told me to dress baby in clothes similar to what you are comfortable in for the weather that day. I'm having a hard time deciding on an outfit too!

I live in Arizona and it's super hot still in August so I'm not doing a hat but I am doing socks.

my little girls outfit is super simple
A onsie and super soft pants, and socks and hat if weather permitts.  
The way i see it, baby just spent their whole life naked and comfy so they should be as comfortably dressed as possible.

It's so hard to know what to put them in in the heat! It's very hot where I live too and I think I've just decided on a onesie and some socks and a light receiving blanket just incase of the ac in the car.
