WE ARE MORE...

Rosemary • I'm a cis woman who breaks from gender expectations of womenhood. Meaning, no marriage, ideologically don't believe in monogamy, I'm bi, may not have kids, proMyBodyMyChoice

We are more than our reproductive system.

Many argue for abortion within X scenarios, in which X questions women's abilities &/or circumatances. X= poor, young, raped, disabled, not in a serious relationship, too old, too many kids, etc. HOWEVER, all of the above and those I didn't mention are ALSO the reasons why so many women are judged for having kids.

Precisely because we are more than our reproductive system, we have to find different ways of debating, where we fully support women's agency to their own bodies and decision making as our reproductive right.

The question should always be "do they want to go through with pregnancy and do they want to parent, regardless of their circumstances?" To be pro-choice is to respect their decision. We don't have to 100% agree with it but we should 100% respect it and we should never create or allow others to inhibit people from their right to their own body and reproductive rights.
