Sweeping membranes ?

Hey mommas! My doctor said he would strip my membranes when I'm 38 weeks... Just wondering for those of you who have had it done... Did it hurt?! And did it work for you?

I'm getting nervous!

It felt like bad period cramps for me. I had it done Wednesday and I was due yesterday. I lost my mucus plug the day after and have had cramping since but not much else has happened

Worked for me ! Did it twice in one day 5 days before my due date and went into labor a few hours later , planning on getting it done again although it did hurt a bit but was worth it !

I didn't think it hurt at all...honestly I didn't even know my Dr. had done it until afterwards when he said he did. Just thought he was checking me.

I had it done in both previous pregnancies and found it painful (sorry!!). Certainly not keen on having it done this time.
