What to do with my placenta?

I want to plant my placenta but im afraid of it smelling in my backyard. I am also afraid of animals sniffing it out and digging it up. Has anyone planted their placenta? What was it like?

People will plant the placenta and plant a tree along with it...the tree grows as your child grows. Surprised not a lot of people have heard of this! Lol.

Why plant it? The entire point of people keeping it is so that they can have the nutrients from it.

I've heard of woman planting their placenta to give back to the earth. I think it's a beautiful idea and I like what other women said about planting a tree as well. I would imagine animals will try and get it so maybe plant it a few feet down and put red pepper or something around it? It's supposed to work for dogs to stop urinating in certain areas lol idk

Ever since I read about that before I've wanted to plant mine with a tree above it. Watch the tree grow with the child.

If it's buried it won't smell, just bury it deep enough and no animal will dig it up, and plant a tree above it. Or encapsulate it and take it, it has tons and tons of benefits. Do some research on it. 👍🏼💛

I read you should plant it 2 ft down bury it a few inches and then plant a tree or plant over it to give placenta time to decompose before roots hit it, but I've heard plants really benefit from it 😊

You don't use meat in a compost,  so planting it would just cause rot. Not sure where you heard that from..But if you dehydrated it first then planted it, that could work -the smell would be gone for no animals and it wouldn't rot.

I'm not sure why one would plant the placenta but if you wish to do so I'd maybe look into some sort of air tight container. I'd imagine it could let off a smell or attract animals to dig up your yard, but I'm not really an expert on the topic. I'd say box it or bag it, something.
