When to buy things for nursery?

Hi! I'm only 16 weeks and 3 days and am thinking about starting to purchase a few things for the nursery. I just keep thinking it's a little too soon. So i feel i should wait until 24 weeks or so. What are you ladies doing?

I'm 18 weeks and I have a 3-in-1 crib, a glider, a bookshelf filled with baby/toddler books, bottles, pacifiers, and clothes. Go for it! It's fun to baby shop and you can never have too much of anything!!

I want to do everything now! I'm 16 weeks, we're going on vacation the first week in august so we agreed to start the nursery as soon as we get back. Hubby is spending the weekends in between touching up some other the things in the house so we can focus just on the nursery when we're back

I'm 16 weeks and just started buying things. Im hoping to get things little by little so it doesn't seem a big financial strain. I'm trying to buy some of the larger items so I don't have to ask for them and don't feel as bad putting higher quantities of the smaller stuff on my registry. I'm buying used though so it's been easy on my wallet. I say do whatever you want to do. I'm also buying a lot of gender neutral stuff that way if we have another baby in the future, we can reuse everything but clothes.

My entire nursery is set furniture and paint wise. Waiting until the gender reveal to decorate with little pops of color.

We're looking for a home to buy so unfortunately I CNT buy big items but if u already have her/his room then it's never too early (imo) to start. Especially if you find good deals. I've found good deals on a rockaroo and other items I just couldn't pass up and grabbed it. I'm 17 weeks. If I had the space I would have started already too loo
