What is the Black Lives Matter movement?

Black Lives Matter (BLM) is an international activist movement, originating in the African-American community, that campaigns against violence toward black people.

Now, with that being said. The media, of course, is what makes it seem like it's a racist movement. And to make it even worse, they *only* show pictures & videos of black men & women twerking, fighting, their mugshots, gang participation etc. These are the kind of pictures that need to be circulated! Black queens & kings are so much more than thugs! They literally built our country, and are *still* being burned at the stake. To my black queens & kings, I'm so sorry for everything you go through on a daily basis, just trying to survive. Please know, there are white, spanish, asian, & indian men & women who believe in & support the Black Lives Matter movement. Yes, all lives matter. But this is particularly the BLACK Lives Matter movement. ✊✊✊
