How to tell you've miscarried?💔💔

So at the time I found out I was pregnant ( not planning it) My husband at the time was my BF. We weren't trying and yes I was on birth control. Well, as months went by we decided to move up our marriage date instead of waiting to 2018 and we got married. My husband is in the Army and I was able to get insurance with the military. My local doctor that offered state insurance wouldn't see me until I was 10 weeks. Sure enough I canceled the insurance as soon as I got married and went under my husband insurance. I went to the DR to hear what they say is my baby heartbeat and there's no heartbeat. I passed out and woke up to the most saddest day of my life. My husband is away in a 30 day training for the Army and I can't even talk to him right now because the soldiers can't have their phones. How do I tell this to my husband? Let alone our family? Everyone knows we didn't try and after all we became happy and even had conversations about names! I'm so hurt! I feel like a failure and that I waited to long to go to the DR. This is my first miscarriage And I'm still in denial. Why? Why ? Why? I don't want to text this to my husband so it would be the first thing he reads! Ahhhh I wish I could disappear 💔💔💔so hurt.

Don't blame yourself! This could have happened even if you went to the dr. I know this hurts right now and you feel like it's never going to stop but I promise you it will. Right now the only one you need to tell is your husband. Give yourself some time to grieve and then worry about telling more people. I'm so sorry this happened to you. But I promise with time you will feel better. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Tell him that is isnt something that you could have controlled. Tell him that you wish for him to call you as soon as he is able to get to a phone. Start slowly asking about his day, and if he is alone. Then tell him that you miscarried and that you are feeling like it is entirely your fault even though it is not. Look to him for support. You two can grieve together. I wouldn't tell your family until you two are comfortable enough with it to tell them. Heck, I know some of my friends never even told their families that they were even pregnant because until after the first trimester is over, the chances of miscarriages are high. Just tell them when you are comfortable enough and keep yourself occupied until your husband gets home.

Don't feel like a failure bc it wasn't your fault. They say if you're going to miscarry, you're going to miscarry and there's nothing you can do about it. Maybe the baby wasn't ready for the real world and it was made to bring you two closer together.
