Taking Zoloft during pregnancy

Ashley • Momma of two badass little boys

So I'd like to know if any of you beautiful ladies have or are currently are taking Zoloft during pregnancy.

I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety ten years ago. Struggled without medication for years and three pregnancies. In February I had a mental breakdown and voluntarily put myself in the hospital to finally help myself through all of this. They prescribed me lexapro. A few very hard months using and then reducing dosage i found out I was pregnant, I immediately stopped taking it. Protecting my babies have always been priority. I'm 17 weeks along now. I have alot going on right now. I cry every day. I try not to in front of my kids, but it happens. Some days I still can't get out of bed. My ob and psychiatrist recommended Zoloft. But of course I'm so scared of what will happen to me and the baby.

If you are currently taking it, is it working? What advise do you have for me?

If you took it while pregnant and the baby was born, were their any concerns for the baby? Of course I googled it and I read they sometimes suffer from withdrawal. They could have breathing and eating problems the first few weeks

Thanks in advance!!
