Really?? Wtf

Jllismuch • 26, been married for the past 7 years almost 8 to my amazing husband, baby time hopefully soon
Why is it if women get a ring "upgrade" or anniversary ring they just replace their original ring with it? I'm sorry but to me I feel it's almost like an insult to your spouse, because to me you're basically saying "the first ring wasn't good enough for me" it's he thought that counts. If my husband upgraded my ring I would wear it on my other hand or depending on the size of the stone I would wear it on my middle finger. I couldn't replace my wedding set or engagement ring, the worst part is though I've notice a lot of women will sell their first ring and to me that's like a kick in the face to me. I'm sorry but am I the only one who feels it's almost like an insult to replace your original ring or to replace your first ring and then sell it. I understand if he gives you a cheap little ring and wants to replace it later or gives you like a twist tie or something but I would still at least keep it and treasure it in my jewelry box and share it with our kids in the later years. I dunno it's just something I'm noticing a lot lately
