Why does it hurt most in the shower?

I'm 1 week pp of my C section. And im doing ok during the day by when it comes to shower I swear I cry on how much the incision hurts! Why is this😩

Answer

I had the same thing I tried to avoid the water directly hitting the incision & it was much better. I think it's just the force of the water putting pressure on the incision that hurts
