Eye prescription too strong?

Hi! I recently got a new prescription at the eye doctor and got trial lenses. Well, today I put them in and the disoriented and dizzy feeling that usually lasts about 10 minutes for me with new prescriptions, lasted multiple hours. They seem like my vision is really sensitive and everything I turn my head to look at moves oddly(like when you are nauseous and dizzy, which I was). The new prescription is quite different from the last one I had but I'm not sure if they're too strong or I'm just going to need to wait longer to adjust to them. Maybe it's just with the contacts and it won't be that way with the glasses? What do you think? Should I go back and have the test redone or wait and give it more tries with the lenses to adjust?
