Protester, What would you do??

Question

You or your loved one is very ill, sick, hurt...etc. and they call 911 to be rushed to the hospital only to be stopped on the road/highway by protester. During this time, you or your loved one has died in the back of the ambulance cause of lack of treatment and not being able to reach their destination. Who are you going to protest against then?

Honestly, there is a time and place for everything. I'm not saying it's not needed or it should stop but at the end of the day you (and only you) are responsible for your own actions.

This is why protestors should NOT block roads. It wouldn't make me against the BLM though because them as a whole would not be responsible for the death of my loved ones. I would however be pissed at those specific protestors though

I saw a story about a sick infant needing ambulatory care in Memphis. The ambulance had to have a police escort up the wrong side of the interstate, then had to drive 25 minutes out of the way to get to the nearest hospital. That's not ok. Nor is the nonchalant attitude I've seen and heard about the potential loss of life due to these protests.

-People can protest. People SHOULD protest. 
-Don't block roads. Stand on the side. Or in front of the police station, do a sit in there. Something that won't cause more senseless deaths.

I don't believe for a single second anyone would block an ambulance.

It's illegal to block emergency vehicles and people who do it can and will be arrested. If ambulances know there is a blockage they will generally take another route to the closest appropriate facility. If they are being blocked by stopped traffic then traffic is obligated to get out of the way -- that's not the protesters' fault. How do you think emergency vehicles manage to get into and out of heavy traffic and highway closures due to accidents? This isn't their first rodeo.

Plus you'd have to prove that your loved one would have survived if they'd made it to the hospital however many minutes sooner, which is probably going to be tough to do. Unstable patients die sometimes.

But hey, at least your loved one would have a better shot than the people who are shot to death leading up to these protests. Of all the video I've ever seen, resuscitation after shooting someone appears to be a distant afterthought.

I know of someone that was on the way to the ER in an ambulance. A cop stopped the ambulance because he was going just a little too fast. The guy died because of this. The cop is now no longer able to even work in a security field much less as a police officer. Shouldn't some type of persecution happen to these protesters if someone died trying to get to the hospital or whatever and they prevented it? I believe they should be 100% accountable.

Yes you are right  if they are ignorant  they don't  listen but people  if they think straight  they might  notice that's why we protest until  someone  one notice period.
