At what point should you STOP having sex?

So I know that sometimes around 37-40 weeks, doctors recommend having sex as a natural way to start labor.

But is there a risk of labor starting if you have sex earlier than 37 weeks? I'm 25 ish weeks currently and wondering if there's a point that I should stop until maybe towards the end?

You really only need to stop if doc gives a medical reason or your water has broke. Having sex won't start labor unless your body/baby is ready.

I've never had an issue throughout the whole pregnancy! I'm now 40 and 2 days :)

It's recommended to stop once you start dilating so you don't risk infection. But it's not highly likely so definitely stop once your water breaks 😂

At the beginning my doctor recommended having sex with a condom because semen softens your cervix.

You can have sex at any time through pregnancy. If you are worried ask your doctor but I'm sure they will say the same thing.
