It's always possible. I would go to an allergist. I developed a peanut allergy during my pregnancy. It caused eczema to break out on my hands.

When my cat scratches me it also gets red and puffy. I'm not allergic, just got cut with a kitty razor claw and my body is recognizing trauma. I don't think it's a pregnancy symptom. It would be the oddest I've ever heard
