6 months is fine.

It depends on the baby also. If they're up 3x per night for a feed it wouldn't be great. But if they get up once or sleep through they'll be fine in their own room

I've read that having them sleep in the same room as you for the first six months reduces the risk of SIDS, so sometime after six months!?

I put my last breastfed baby in his own room at 10 weeks, will be the same with this one. Easier to feed him in his room where the chair is set up and not in the room with hubby who has to get up to work in the morning.

I didn't until he was 8 months. I just found getting up so much in the night would be more effort if he was in his own room.

I cant imagine putting a baby in a seperate room to me until they are ATLEAST 1 year old.
