Appendectomy before pregnancy...

Had anyone else Had an appendectomy before getting pregnant and have almost a constant pain on the right side? Baby is doing great and has been checked multiple times because I keep having this pain... It is just a dull ache but it is annoying not knowing what is causing it. One nurse mentioned to me that she had her appendix out before she got pregnant and always had a lot of pain on the right when she was pregnant with her children. That makes sense because there would be Scar Tissue on that side but why has my doctor not mentioned that that could be the cause for this? I guess it could be round ligament pain too... I am 13 weeks so I think that's the right time for round ligament pain to start!
