2nd baby will labour be quicker?

Anyone on baby no 2 or 3 or 4? Is labour quicker second time around? With my son my water 's broke at 1130pm I had a shower got to hospital about 1am and he was born at 445am so generally quite quick. My husband keeps saying second labour's are quicker and he won't be letting me have a shower this time 😞

With baby number one labor was 16 hours, labor two was 26 hours, labor 3 was 12 hours. I'm hoping labor 4 is quicker. Usually in most cases with each labor the amount of time goes down.

I was in labor for 12hrs with my first and 5 1/2hrs with my second! I'm hoping this one goes by fast like my second did

That's not necessarily true. You'll know what's going on with your body by how far apart your contractions are.

With my 1st I was in labour for 11 hours. My 2nd I was contracting from 12pm. They went to break my waters at 8.30pm and there was nothing due break due to them going a few days before. After that he was born at 10.35pm. They say I was only really in established labour for 2 hours but I find that hard to agree with as I was contracting every minute from 12pm and dilating!
